The Pole Pole Resort is situated in the Utende area of Mafia Island, the resort is Archipelago's main base. It is set in a shady, breezy spot facing a sea of the deepest blue and looking over at the islands of Chole, Juani and Jibondo.
Accommodation
Seven roomy bungalows with wide verandas looking onto the sea are built entirely out of wood and raised on stilts to ensure the maximum comfort for the guests. Each bungalow is personalized fixtures and finishings. Twin and double beds are available and an extra bed can be provided. Two bungalows are ‘family’ type with two rooms separated by the bathroom and a small corridor for privacy. Each bungalow is self-contained; the bathrooms have king-size showers, bidets and toilets.

- The cuisine is a combination of diverse culinary traditions and cultures, with an Italian style touch of class. The resort caters for special dietary requirements whenever possible. Most of the food served is organically grown and bought on the island to help fishermen and farmers benefit from tourism development.

- You can enjoy a relaxing body massage using essential oils either on the beach or in the comfort of your own room.

Kinasi is a small, luxury lodge situated in Chole Bay on Mafia Island, built on 3 hectares of land.
Accommodation
12 lanteen bungalows (one is a family unit with two bedrooms), each with a large verandah and en-suite bathroom. The bungalows have been constructed in rendered concrete block, with palm-leaf (makuti) roofs, and concrete foundations and floors. You can use between sea facing rooms or ones that look out onto the short, green lawns and gardens.

- The dining room is appointed with crockery and hand-blown glassware and there are original works of art by East African artists. The catering is based upon local seafood; Seafood barbecues and Swahili cuisine are established KINASI customs.

The Mafia Island Lodge stands amidst tall palms on a sandy beach in Chole Bay, in the heart of the marine park near Utende village on South coast of Mafia.
Accommodation
40 comfortable rooms are set among the coconut palms with their own veranda overlooking the bay. They are all self-contained with air conditioning. Twin and double beds are available. Among the 40 rooms there are 2 family rooms with a large living room. Hot and cold water is available 24 hours a day.

Chole Mjini, named after the ruins of a once thriving trading center, is set amongst lush jungle and mangrove forest on Mafia Island.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in six magnificent tree houses and one luxurious suite on the ground. Set among ancient Baobab trees and oriented to catch the cool sea breezes, each has a splendid view of Chole Bay and the forests beyond. Each house has at one double bed, protected by a huge, walk-in mosquito net. Each tree house has a shower, with both hot and cold water, and its own dry composting toilet, situated at the base of the tree in a private garden. The suite has an en-suite bathroom with a sunken, mosaic bath and flush toilet and a large private garden.

- The main public area is split level with the downstairs is a large open area accommodating the lounge and dining area and upstairs accommodates mezzanine terrace and bar with sweeping views.
