As its name suggests, the lodge is located on the banks of the great Ruaha River, which is the lifeline of the Park.
Accommodation
20 rooms with twin beds or a double bed, additional beds can be added. The rooms are protected with mosquito gauze on the windows. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin with solar-heated hot water. The local stone and thatch room has minimal impact on the environment and game viewing from your veranda is a relaxing and enthralling option.
Facilities
Ruaha River Lodge offers guests a full English breakfast, buffet lunch and a 3 course dinner with a vegetarian option. All food is prepared from fresh farm produce. The lodge is happy to cater for any special dietary requirements, provided they are informed at the time of booking.

Amidst a magnificent setting is Jongomero Camp, a luxury safari camp in Africa set under shady acacia trees on the banks of the Jongomero Sand River in the remote south-western sector of Ruaha. Being the only Camp situated in this area of the Park ensures unmatched privacy.
Accommodation
Accommodation at Jongomero comprises eight large and well-appointed tented suites, under enormous thatched roofs that also encompass a spacious private veranda. All tents have 8 ft wide dhow wood Emperor Beds with en-suite bathrooms having hot and cold running water.
Facilities
The dining and living areas are both original and very comfortable offering a great vantage to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush that surrounds the Camp, as does the natural rock pool for those hot days.

Mwagusi is situated in the north of Ruaha National Park, set on the banks of the seasonal Mwagusi River overlooking a watering hole in the riverbed.
Accommodation
The 10 tents are designed within thatched bandas each with high density mattresses, dressing table, wardrobe, luggage racks and safari chairs all built in the traditional style of the camp. Solar powered lights as well as a number of traditional hurricane lamps provide lighting. At the front of each banda is a large covered veranda with a table and armchairs made from local materials. Each banda has a 'en suite' bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower.
Facilities
- The dining and lounge area is a spacious open-sided room – with views out over the Mwagusi River. Under the high-thatch ceilings, are dining tables where guests have breakfast and lunch. There is also a number of sofas offer a comfortable place to relax and a great spot to look out for animals.
- In front of the main banda is an area where guests gather in the mornings around the camp fire. Adjacent to this area is a further lounging area and small library – with a table and chairs and wildlife books.

Mdonya Camp is a small camp located in the western part of Ruaha National Park, a few kms from the Mdonya Falls.
Accommodation
11 large tents are scattered in a spacious area under the shade of large sycamore figs
and nestled in the curving banks of a sand-river. They are traditional safari tents
and comfortably furnished with double or twin beds and with large verandahs where one can relax and observe the wildlife around. There are three family tents, with separate rooms zipped on. All the tents have en-suite bathrooms with dressing room, open-roofed shower and separate flush toilet.
Facilities
- The dining and lounge tents sit under sycamore fig trees overlooking the dry river bed which is used by game as a corridor, so that guests can enjoy the game viewing while having lunch or relaxing.
- There are comfortable sitting areas, with a small library and interesting wildlife artefacts
- There are hides at both ends of the camp, where you can sit and watch the game pass by all day long.

Located 12 km from the Ruaha National Park boundary, Tandala Tented Camp and Safaris is an intimate lodge with simple comforts and friendly staff to make you feel welcome and relaxed.
Accommodation
Ten spacious, elevated, luxury tents offering a variety of twin or double bed arrangements. Extra beds are available for children or to accommodate a third person. All lighting is provided by 24 hr solar and each tent stands at least eight meters away from the next ensuring absolute seclusion and privacy. The en-suite bathroom at the back of each tent is enclosed in thatch and rockwork over viewing the bush. Hot showers are provided by gas or solar. At the front of each room is a sizable verandah with comfortable seating perfect for relaxing in private to watch out for game along the Mdweka sand river.

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is 110km from Iringa, 5km from Tungamalenga village and near the boundary of Ruaha National Park. It stands on the slopes of Ideremle Mountain and the panoramic view is breathtaking.
Accommodation
The luxury self contained cottages are very comfortable and private, each with its own balcony with a beautiful view. Our water is heated by solar power.
