Lake Duluti
The small beautiful Crater Lake Duluti lies about 11km east of Arusha. The beauty of the place is breathtaking and you will be mesmerized by the tranquility and serenity that rules over the place.
The dense forest around the Lake Duluti is home to variety of reptiles and diverse wildlife. Around Lake also is a sanctuary that has more than one hundred and forty different species of birds including kingfisher, fish eagle, dove, buzzard, and barbet. From here, you have spectacular views of the Mounts Meru and Kilimanjaro.
There are a number of activity options around Lake Duluti. These include canoeing, boating, fishing, bird watching and guided nature walks.
Canoeing is a superb way to get close to the wildlife without the noise and restrictions of a vehicle. Glide across the smooth surface of this small Crater Lake. Enjoy the site and feel of the serene surrounding. During this leisurely paddle, you will encounter interesting bird life, experience the awesome beauty of this secluded portion of serene nature and breathe the fresh air.
