The Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Zanzibar facilities include two infinity swimming pools, a children’s pool, a jetty/pier, and watersports, including sailing, water skiing, tubing, kayaking, and windsurfing. The hotel has the island’s only golf course. It also has a recreational area that offers table tennis, darts, a pool, two floodlit tennis courts, a squash court, trampolines, beach volleyball, bicycles, and a gym. These facilities and the use of the relevant equipment are available free of charge to hotel guests. A variety of board games are also available from the recreation area. All non-motorized watersports are free of charge for hotel guests. Lessons in the activities are charged to your room bill. Children can use the Kidz Club, a secure and supervised playground featuring a climbing wall, arts and crafts, and outdoor and indoor activities. Guests can also use the services (chargeable) of the Zanzibar Horse Safaris at the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Zanzibar. It welcomes riders of all levels, and the sunset beach rides are memorable!

Zanzibar is a religious place where 95% of the inhabitants are Muslim. Visitors are asked to dress respectfully and refrain from public displays of affection. In the towns and villages, women should have their shoulders and knees covered; men should not walk either topless or in their swimming trunks.  Of course, swimwear is acceptable on the beaches, but topless sunbathing is not permitted. We would advise visitors to ask permission before taking photographs of local people. Please do not eat or drink in public during the fast of Ramadan, as this is not respectful. Non-Muslims should not enter mosques unless specifically invited to do so.
