On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi, a drive that typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. As you leave the airport, you’ll get your first feel of the city, with its mix of modern buildings and everyday local life. On arrival at your hotel, there’s time to relax after your journey before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Nairobi, we set off towards the Maasai Mara, a drive of about six hours. The journey takes us through the Great Rift Valley, where we stop briefly to take in the views before continuing across open countryside. As we get closer to the Mara, the landscape opens up into wide plains. On arrival, we enjoy lunch before heading out to explore, with chances of seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, and herds across the savannah. Later in the day, we make our way to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in the Maasai Mara, transfer to the airstrip for your approximately 30-minute ALS flight to Kisumu, where you will complete Kenyan customs formalities. Thereafter, continue on a 50-minute flight to Musoma for Tanzanian immigration and customs, followed by a further 50-minute flight with Auric Air to Seronera Airstrip in the Central Serengeti.
On arrival, your guide will meet you and begin a game drive en route to camp, with chances of seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Enjoy a packed lunch before arriving at camp for dinner and overnight.

By late afternoon, we arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Around midday, we stop for a picnic lunch by the lake, often with hippos nearby. In the afternoon, we leave the crater and drive to Arusha, a journey of about 3 hours, arriving at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On arrival, we head out to explore, with chances of seeing large elephant herds and other wildlife before continuing to camp for dinner and overnight.

This safari can be enjoyed throughout the year. The dry seasons, generally from June to October and January to February, offer excellent wildlife-viewing conditions. The Great Migration remains in the Serengeti for much of the year and may reach the Maasai Mara between July and October, depending on rainfall and wildlife movements.
