On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi, a drive that typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. As you leave the airport, you’ll get your first feel of the city, with its mix of modern buildings and everyday local life. On arrival at your hotel, there’s time to relax after your journey before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Nairobi, we set off towards Amboseli, a drive of about four to five hours through changing landscapes and open countryside. On arrival, we enjoy lunch at camp before heading out in the afternoon to explore. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds moving across the plains, often with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, along with chances of seeing lions, giraffes, and other wildlife before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Today is spent exploring Amboseli, with the day unfolding as we move through its open plains and wetlands. We head out after breakfast, with good chances of seeing large elephant herds moving across the landscape, often with Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the background. Along the way, we may also see lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. We enjoy a packed lunch in the park before continuing into the afternoon, before making our way back to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Amboseli, we set off towards the Namanga border, a drive of about two hours as we leave the park behind. After completing border formalities, we continue on the Tanzania side towards Arusha, a further drive of about two hours through changing landscapes and local villages. We enjoy a packed lunch along the way before arriving in Arusha. On arrival at your lodge, there’s time to relax after your journey before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and a short briefing, we depart from Arusha and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands and local villages along the way. Upon arrival, we descend into the crater for a game drive and a packed lunch near the hippo pool. The crater offers excellent wildlife viewing, with chances of spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, and if lucky, the rare black rhino. After exploring the crater floor, we ascend back to the rim and continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Ngorongoro, we set off towards the Central Serengeti, a drive of about four hours as we descend from the highlands into the open plains. Along the way, the landscape changes noticeably, and wildlife begins to appear more frequently, with chances of seeing giraffes, zebras, and antelope, along with predators such as lions and hyenas. We enjoy a packed lunch en route before continuing into the heart of the Serengeti, arriving at camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today is spent exploring the Serengeti. We head out after breakfast, with the whole day to move through the plains and see what unfolds. No two drives are the same, one moment it’s quiet, the next you’re watching lions, cheetahs, or herds on the move. We stop for a packed lunch in the bush before continuing into the afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the light turns golden across the plains, one of those simple moments that stays with you. From there, we make our way back to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in the Central Serengeti, we set off towards the Northern Serengeti, a drive of about five hours as we follow wildlife across the plains, with chances of seeing lions, cheetahs, and elephants. On arrival near the Mara River, your guide will take you straight to the river. Game drives here are all about timing and patience, positioning the vehicle at a safe distance, often under a tree, and as the wildebeest gather, we slowly move closer and stop to watch the crossing unfold. Later, we make our way to camp for dinner and overnight.

Today is spent around the Mara River, where patience often leads to unforgettable moments. We head out after breakfast and position ourselves carefully, watching as herds gather along the riverbanks. There’s always a sense that something could happen at any time. When a crossing begins, it’s fast and full of energy, with crocodiles in the water and predators nearby. We enjoy a packed lunch in the area before continuing through the afternoon. As the light softens, the plains take on a warm golden glow before we make our way back to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your approximately 30-minute Auric Air flight to Musoma, where you will complete Tanzanian immigration and customs formalities. Thereafter, continue on a 50-minute ALS flight to Kisumu for Kenyan immigration and customs, followed by a further 30-minute flight to the Maasai Mara.

On arrival, your guide will meet you and begin a game drive en route to camp, with chances of seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Enjoy a packed lunch before arriving at camp for dinner and overnight.

We stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, arriving in time for your onward flight.
