After Kilimanjaro climb FAQ's
Our care for you, our intrepid climbers, starts from your first enquiry, throughout your time on the mountain and right through until your departure. That goes without saying. But not everyone wants to leave beautiful Tanzania straightaway.
It could be time to relax, in which case we can give you all the information you need for a trip to simply stunning Zanzibar. Or perhaps it’s a perfect opportunity for a different type of adventure, a Tanzanian safari with incredible landscapes and wonderful wildlife. Here we have great suggestions as to how to make the best of your time, after your climb.
1. Extension to safaris and beach breaks
1.1) Can Easy Travel organize a safari for me after my climb?
Of course we can! Kilimanjaro is close to some of the greatest wildlife-spotting locations in the world. Think of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara. After your climb, you deserve something truly special, and there is nothing more special than a Tanzanian safari. We have been offering first-class safari adventures for over 35 years, in either Private Tours or Small Group Tours format.
1.2) Can I book a safari once I’ve arrived in Tanzania?
All safaris must be booked before you arrive with us, to ensure the availability of accommodation. We would advise booking your safari several months in advance. And it makes sense to reserve it at the same time as your climb, wherever possible.
1.3) Will I have time to wash my dirty clothes after the climb?
If you need clothes washed at the end of your climb, Easy Travel can arrange for this to be done by your Arusha hotel. There will be an extra charge for this service.
1.4) What should I wear on a safari?
Clothing is very important on a safari, so do read our top tips about safari clothing.
1.5) I don’t want to go on a safari, but I would love to visit Zanzibar after my climb. Can you organize a trip for me?
No problem, this is another popular option for climbers who want to really relax. Speak to our booking advisor when you’re organising your climb, they’ll be happy to help.
1.6) Can you explain the dates of your active trekking small group tours and active trekking private tours?
