After breakfast in Nairobi, we set off towards Lake Nakuru, a drive of about 3.5 hours. Along the way, we pass through the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly to take in the views before continuing. As we enter the park, the landscape changes to acacia woodland and lakeshore, known for its rich birdlife. We enjoy a packed lunch before heading out to explore, with chances of seeing rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and flamingoes along the lake, before continuing to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
