On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to Arusha, a drive of about 45 to 60 minutes. As you settle in, you’ll begin to get a feel for the surroundings, with views of the landscape and glimpses of local life along the way. On arrival at your lodge, there’s time to relax after your journey before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Arusha, we set off towards Lake Manyara, a drive of about two hours through the scenic highlands of the Rift Valley. As we enter the park, the landscape shifts quickly from forest to open areas along the lake. We enjoy a packed lunch inside before spending the afternoon exploring, with chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, and a rich variety of birdlife, including flamingoes along the lake’s edge, before heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at Lake Manyara, we set off towards the Serengeti, a drive of about six hours that takes us through the highlands before the land gradually opens into wide plains. Along the way, we enjoy a packed lunch. As we approach the Serengeti, there’s a real sense of arrival. Wildlife begins to appear more frequently, with chances of seeing giraffes, zebras, and antelope, followed by predators such as lions and hyenas. Later in the day, we drive to camp, where dinner and a relaxed evening await.

Today is spent exploring the Serengeti. We head out after breakfast, with the whole day to move through the plains and see what unfolds. No two drives are the same, one moment it’s quiet, the next you’re watching lions, cheetahs, or herds on the move. We stop for a packed lunch in the bush before continuing into the afternoon. As the sun begins to set, the light turns golden across the plains, one of those simple moments that stays with you. From there, we make our way back to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in the Serengeti, we set out on a final morning game drive across the endless plains, a last chance to take in the wildlife before leaving. As we head towards Ngorongoro, we enjoy a packed lunch along the way. The drive takes about 3.5 hours, and as we reach the crater rim, the vast Ngorongoro Crater suddenly opens up below—a moment where you truly realise how big it is. By late afternoon, we arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we head down into the Ngorongoro Crater, where wildlife is never far and the scenery feels close and immersive. We spend the morning exploring the crater floor, with chances of seeing lions, elephants, buffalo, and if we’re lucky, even rhino. Around midday, we stop for a picnic lunch by the lake, often with hippos nearby. In the afternoon, we leave the crater and drive to Tarangire, a journey of about 3.5 hours, arriving at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Tarangire, we set out on a final morning game drive, a last chance to enjoy the park while it’s still quiet and active. Elephants are often close by, along with giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. We then begin the drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, a journey of about three hours, with time to reflect on the experiences and wildlife seen over the past days before your onward travel.
