Manyara’s Secret is around a three-hour drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. As an alternative, you can fly to nearby Lake Manyara Airstrip.

As well as Lake Manyara National Park, the vast Tarangire National Park is close enough to visit. You can visit a Maasai village or tour the lively Mto Wa Mbu village. There is also the chance to go mountain biking or even a full-day excursion to the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Manyara’s Secret has villas with a private plunge pool for couples who value their privacy. On a honeymoon package, you will receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, a special welcome in your room, and a unique Maasai ceremony that celebrates your wedding in a most unique, romantic way.

Manyara’s Secret offers a variety of comfortable villas which can accommodate two, four, six, or eight persons. Each stylish villa boasts a plunge pool or infinity pool, an outdoor shower, and the service of a personal host.

Manyara’s Secret electricity is generated from solar boilers that heat the hot water.

A laundry service is available at extra cost. Return time depends on the weather, as items are washed by hand and hand-dried.

Guests are always advised to drink bottled water at the lodge and use the water in the taps for showers and washing. Use bottled water for cleaning your teeth, too.

With advance notice, Manyara’s Secret can cater to most dietary requirements. Manyara’s Secret will be able to cater to these, and we recommend that you stress your needs on arrival at the lodge.

A ‘tipping box’ is available if you want to give a gratuity and any tips received are then shared amongst the lodge staff. We advise that you make your contribution at the time of your checkout.
