An open-air breakfast, lunch, or dinner is a special experience, feasting yourself among the wildlife.
A night game drive is a ‘must-do’ experience, a whole different view of the fascinating world of wildlife. Many different animals emerge as darkness falls, and your guide will point them out: perhaps a rare aardvark, white-tailed mongoose, caracal, or ultra-cute bush baby.
As many of the &Beyond Klein’s Camp staff are local and from the Maasai people, you can learn much about their culture and traditions by engaging with them in conversation – they are very proud and happy to answer questions! But visiting a local Maasai boma (enclosure) will give you an even better and deeper insight into how these fascinating and colorful people live. You may also be able to visit a school or clinic. Tanzania’s people are as interesting as its wildlife!
A walking safari is the best way to get very close to nature. Setting off with an armed ranger, you can follow animal tracks, be on the lookout for colorful birdlife, listen to the sounds of the wildlife and discover all about their habits. Africa on foot – what a very special experience!
No fences around &Beyond Kleins Camp exist so that wildlife can pass through anytime. It would be best if you were watchful when walking around the camp. Staff is always available to escort you, and you will always be accompanied after dark.
