Elewana Tarangire Treetops is situated west and south of Arusha city and north of the Tarangire National Park. This area boasts some of the largest elephant herds in Africa, loads of famous baobab trees, and more than 550 bird species.
The journey from Arusha is approximately three hours if coming directly by road. From Kilimanjaro International Airport, the journey is four hours. An alternative is to take a 25-minute flight from Kilimanjaro or Arusha to the Kuro airstrip, and a 90 mins drive from Kuro Airstrip to Elewana Tarangire Treetops.
Elewana Tarangire Treetops offers baggage storage, a swimming pool, outdoor dining, a bar, a sun terrace, a gift shop, laundry service, a bar/lounge, and Wi-fi.

Note that Elewana does not apply any surcharge on credit card payments.
You are advised only to drink bottled water at Elewana Tarangire Treetops. Mineral water can be purchased in shops and restaurants and at the Elewana Tarangire Treetops. We also recommend that you use mineral water for brushing your teeth.
Elewana Tarangire Treetops runs on either generator or solar power, which provides 24-hour electricity. Electricity in Tanzania is 240 volts AC, 50 Hz. The correct plug is the UK Standard plug. (rectangular 3-pin). All Elewana properties have adaptors for your use in each room.
