Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge is steeped in history, having once been the home of Ngorongoro’s first conservationist, Henry Fosbrooke, who set in motion the campaign that resulted in the status of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge has 24 lovely rooms, all ensuite, with a hot shower and a relaxing living area. Each room at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge has a wooden deck that looks out over the dense forest. Colorful Maasai-inspired touches decorate the rooms.
Being at altitude, it can be chilly at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, but there’s a wood-burning stove, which staff will light for you on cold evenings. You will also be supplied with hot water bottles to keep you warm!

As you’ll want to get down into the crater early to beat the crowds, the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge can serve an early breakfast from 06.00 – even earlier on request! A lunchbox can be provided to those staying out on safari. Dinner might be infused with Tanzanian flavors and could be followed by lively Maasai entertainment!
