Here, due to the high altitude, it is quite cold at the camp, and guests should bring warm clothes when visiting. To avoid the two rainy seasons, the best times to travel are December, January, February, or late June to early October. (The long rains occur in April and May (into early June); the short rains occur in October and November.)
Daytime clothing should be cool and comfortable, and we advise long sleeves and long trousers for morning and evening due to mosquitoes. A warm fleece jacket is needed for chilly evenings. Sturdy, strong shoes are essential.
