In stunning surroundings in the heart of the Serengeti, the Singita Faru Faru Lodge benefits from its proximity to a waterhole popular with the local wildlife. The location is inside a vast private reserve, and you can sit on the spacious outdoor decking and admire the amazing landscapes and their wildlife residents.
Relaxation is a way of life here, guaranteed by the closeness of the wilderness and the stylish décor, airy suites, and huge windows that display the panoramas at their best.
Singita Faru Faru Lodge offers just nine suites, seven one-bedroom, one suitable for a family, and another with two bedrooms, perfect for two couples/four adults and with a private pool. Each room is air-conditioned and ensuite and is furnished with a writing desk, safe, and hairdryer.
This luxury, modern wilderness lodge has additional attractions: two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a central bar area.
Our guests gather in the communal dining tent to take breakfast and dinner, while lunch can be enjoyed either at the camp itself or out in the bush for those on a full day’s safari.
Guests are frequently surprised by the high quality of the cuisine in our isolated location, describing it as ‘five-star’ or ‘delicious.’ We are proud of the efforts of our camp chef and his team.

Yes, the Singita Faru Faru Lodge provides hot water for showers.
It is useful to arrive at the lodge with sufficient cash to pay for extra drinks and staff gratuities. Banknotes such as 5-dollar, 10-dollar, and 20-dollar bills are best. Poor network coverage in the park may mean the card machine is not always working. Most of the time, you can use US Dollars in Tanzania, particularly in tourist areas, and major credit cards are accepted at most hotels, lodges, and camps. However, we advise having some local currency on you if you want to purchase from a local shop. Major towns and airports have forex bureaus where you can exchange most major currencies such as US Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, etc.
The price includes accommodation, all meals, drinks (excluding only Champagne), game drives twice daily, vehicle transfers from the Sasakwa airstrip to the lodge and back, telephone calls, wi-fi, and limited laundry service.
The Singita Grumeti Fund anti-poaching team of 120 scouts patrols the 350,000-acre private reserve. They base themselves in a dozen lodges, with observation posts (OP) throughout the reserve. They look for poachers and any injured wildlife or cattle entering the reserve.
If they desire, guests can visit one of the posts to meet the scouts and understand their job and lives. This is an educational and informative experience enjoyed and valued by those who choose to visit. Poaching is a big problem in Tanzania; this work is challenging and dangerous.
Tanzania is not just about wildlife; it is also about its wonderful people, too. Singita is fully committed to community development projects, and our lodge guests can visit some of the local communities with which the Grumeti Fund Community Outreach Program partners. The objectives of this work include improved education, water, and other natural resource management and private enterprise. Guests are encouraged to join us in visiting these communities!
