Tarangire Sopa Lodge nestles among the rocky granite kopjes and ancient baobab trees of the vast Tarangire National Park, a great base from which to explore this elephant haven. Huge herds are a feature of this area!
Tarangire Sopa Lodge is constructed on various levels, but the spacious lobby with its cooling marble floors and incredibly high roof is where you’ll be welcomed. The lounge bar area has huge windows to absorb the views.
Tarangire Sopa Lodge has 75 rooms, including four inter-connecting rooms and two accessible to wheelchairs.
The circular guest suites feature high, conical roofs.
Guests will find the rooms spacious and pleasant, with great views from the private veranda. Rooms have a mini-bar, room safe, two double beds, and a large, well-fitted bathroom.
The dining room at Tarangire Sopa Lodge is decorated with murals and is adorned with artistic touches, which make it a pleasant venue. However, it also features a huge terrace where you can eat breakfast while admiring the national park’s grassy plains and lush trees.
Lunch can be enjoyed beside the pool, and dinner can be served – weather permitting – on the outdoor patio or in the dining room itself.
