At Twiga Campsite, guests do not need to bring their own tents. Our safari chef will install the tents we provide, which include a mattress, pillow, bed sheet, and sleeping bag to ensure a comfortable Tanzania camping stay.
The campsite accommodates over 200 campers on large, shaded grounds with enough space between tents. Public toilets and outdoor bathrooms with hot showers are available for guests’ use, with 24-hour security for peace of mind.
Dining at Twiga Campsite features a communal cooking and dining area where guests enjoy an authentic Tanzania camping meal experience. While self-catering is encouraged, meals can be arranged with the nearby lodge restaurant, which offers Tanzanian and international cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients.
