On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to Arusha, a drive of about 45 to 60 minutes. As you settle in, you’ll begin to get a feel for the surroundings, with views of the landscape and glimpses of local life along the way. On arrival at your lodge, there’s time to relax after your journey before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and a short briefing, we set off from Arusha and reach Tarangire in about two hours. As we enter the park, the baobabs and open landscape immediately stand out. We stop for a packed lunch inside, often with elephants not too far away. The afternoon is spent exploring, with good chances of spotting buffalo, giraffe, and more before we head to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Tarangire, we set off towards the Serengeti, a drive of about six hours that always feels longer in a good way as the landscape keeps changing. As the plains begin to open up, you know you’re getting close. There’s a real sense of arrival as we enter the Serengeti. We stop for a packed lunch, then head out on our first game drive, with good chances of seeing hyenas, lions, elephants, and herds moving across the plains before continuing to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in the Central Serengeti, we set off towards the Grumeti area, a drive of about 2.5 hours as we move into the quieter western corridor. On arrival, we head towards the Grumeti River, where the migration can often be found, with herds gathering along the banks and large crocodiles and hippos in the water below. We enjoy a packed lunch in the area before continuing through the afternoon. Later in the day, we make our way to camp for dinner and overnight.

Today is spent exploring the Grumeti area, one of the quieter parts of the Serengeti. We head out after breakfast, making our way towards the Grumeti River, where much of the activity takes place. Herds can often be seen gathering along the riverbanks, while large crocodiles and hippos remain in the water below. We enjoy a packed lunch in the area before continuing through the afternoon. As the day draws to a close, the light softens over the river and plains before we return to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast in Grumeti, we set off towards the Central Serengeti, a drive of about 2.5 hours as we move from the quieter western corridor into the more open plains. Along the way, wildlife remains part of the journey, with chances of seeing giraffes, zebras, elephants, and predators such as lions and hyenas. We enjoy a packed lunch en route before continuing through the afternoon. Later in the day, we arrive at camp, where dinner and a relaxed evening await.

After breakfast in the Serengeti, we set out on a final morning game drive across the endless plains, a last chance to take in the wildlife before leaving. As we head towards Ngorongoro, we enjoy a packed lunch along the way. The drive takes about 3.5 hours, and as we reach the crater rim, the vast Ngorongoro Crater suddenly opens up below—a moment where you truly realise how big it is. By late afternoon, we arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is a highlight of your safari as we set off after an early breakfast and head down into the Ngorongoro Crater. The drive itself is part of the experience, winding through forest before opening onto the crater floor below. Once inside, it’s full of life—lions, elephants, and if we’re lucky, even rhino. We spend the morning exploring and enjoy a packed lunch in this incredible setting. Later, we begin the five-hour drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport, with plenty of memories to take home.
