In constructing Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge, attention was paid to reducing the adverse impact on the beautiful natural environment surrounding it. Although natural materials were used, each tree felled was replaced with another.
Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge ‘s tented chalets are positioned 12 on either the sunrise or sunset side of the hill. They have a back wall made of local rock and a wooden floor. Each chalet at Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge has a shower and bathtub. A few have baths on the veranda. The chalets are set apart for privacy. The Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge family suites have two bedrooms, one with a king-size and the other with two twin beds. They also have a TV lounge and dining area.
Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge also has some deluxe suites with a TV. All our accommodations have mineral water, bathrobes, a flashlight, umbrellas, walking sticks, a whistle, binoculars (on request), and a safe deposit box.

The best way to reach Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge is to take an internal flight to Grumeti Airstrip, the nearest one to Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge. The vehicle transfer from the airstrip to Grumeti Airstrip takes around 30 minutes.

Electricity is provided by generators, which operate only from 05.00 hours until 08.00 hours and then again from 17.00 hours until 22.30 hours. During other hours, a backup battery will only supply limited power for lighting, table fan, and USB charging. Extra electricity can be supplied via the generator at $20 per hour.
