For over 17 years, the lodge has welcomed its international guests. Calling itself a ‘Swahili Sanctuary,’ this stylish lodge offers visitors all the facilities you would expect, including a large pool and a popular restaurant.

Rooms at Ilburo Safari Lodge
Accommodation is provided by 48 individual cottages in traditional style, positioned throughout the lodge’s beautiful grounds. A few are sited close to the main building, swimming-pool and other facilities.
When making a reservation, guests can choose from single, double, triple or family rooms. Inside, guests will find high-quality bed linen and towels, as well as thoughtful touches such as a desk at which to write your safari journal!
Dining at Ilboru Safari Lodge
Sourcing its fresh produce from the surrounding farms on the slopes of Mount Meru, the dedicated kitchen teamwork with seasonal ingredients to create tasty meals for both locals and guests wishing to dine
For lighter dining options and lunches, there is a poolside menu to choose from; a refreshing drink or cocktail can be enjoyed from the full-service lodge bar. Quality wines from South Africa are also offered.
