Marangu Hotel is just a few kilometers from the Marangu Gate, the starting point for one of the major routes up Mount Kilimanjaro. Twelve acres of beautiful gardens surround the property, which was once a coffee farm but has now been in service as a hotel for 90 years.
The Marangu Hotel has always been strongly embedded in its locality, committed to an ethical, sustainable operation. Vegetables are sourced from the garden, and bread is baked on-site.
