Mbuzi Mawe Serena Tented Camp can be reached by road or by plane. However, guests should appreciate that a road journey from Arusha takes between 8 hours, so it is not recommended unless you take an overnight stop en route.

To arrive by plane, one-hour flights from Arusha Airport land at the Seronera Airstrip. A transfer from the Seronera airstrip to the camp takes around 60 minutes. The journey is about 30 km from Lobo Airstrip and takes one hour.

Every 16 tents are constructed on a stone base with a thatched roof. They are scattered amongst the characteristic rocks of this beautiful region. Free Wi-fi is available.

Two queen-size beds occupy the bedroom area, a seating area, and a bathroom tent with a flush toilet and hot shower. The private, furnished terrace is perfect for ultimate relaxation.

There are no fences around Mbuzi Mawe Serena Tented Camp, so wildlife may pass through at any time. It would be best if you were watchful when walking around the camp. Staff is always available to escort you, and you will always be accompanied after dark.
