Our twelve tents at Selous Serena Camp are decorated with lush rugs and beautiful rosewood furnishings and include an imperious four-poster bed – suitably netted against the mosquitoes – for a refreshing night’s sleep. The style evokes the hunting camps of yesteryear.
Guests love the ensuite bathroom, shower, claw-foot bath, and flush toilet. There’s a writing desk, mini-bar, and tea/coffee-making facilities for those extra touches. A furnished sundeck awaits you outside.
The elevated dining room at Selous Serena Camp is open and provides seating areas, a lounge, and a bar. You have many choices for breakfast, including a “full English.” Lunch might offer chicken, fish, and vegetarian choices, most locally sourced.
Dinner is table d’hôte style, with a salad buffet, soup, meat and vegetarian mains, dessert, cheese, and tea or coffee. Fine wines, freshly squeezed juice, or an infusion are ideal accompaniments. Bush meals are an option!
