Guests have two choices when deciding how to get to Seronera Wildlife Lodge. The first option is to fly into either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, stay overnight in Arusha City, and then be driven 325km or 8 hours to Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Alternatively, guests can avoid the bumpy Tanzanian roads by taking an internal flight from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport to the Seronera Airstrip, a 90-minute flight and only a 5-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip to the Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is deep in the heart of Central Serengeti. The Seronera River provides a constant water source for residents and visiting wildlife, including various colorful bird species. The dense riverine landscape forest along the river provides excellent cover for the predatory leopard. The lodge’s super-central location also means that guests can start early on their daily game drives to get the most from their safari experience. The Serengeti is characterized by endless open plains and rocky outcrops (kopjes), acacia forest, and scrubland. This is excellent habitat for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and myriad impala and Grant’s gazelle. Lions are also frequent visitors to this area.
The cost of a stay at Seronera Wildlife Lodge will depend on the dates of your stay and the number of guests. Please get in touch with us directly for prices.
