The gorgeous Ngorongoro Highlands is an area of enormous beauty. There you’ll discover this beautiful mountain retreat, looking down over a lush coffee plantation and the stunning walls of the famous crater.
At Tloma Mountain Lodge you can settle down on your private terrace to absorb the beauty of Nature, take a refreshing dip in the lodge swimming pool or walk the flowery gardens and admire the colorful birds. Mealtimes are special here, flavored with the local produce cultivated on the estate itself.
The bedrooms at Tloma Mountain Lodge are lavishly decorated, presented ‘chalet-style,’ and each with a private terrace or balcony. Views are either to the lodge gardens, the coffee plantation, or both.
Spacious and comfortable, each room is fitted with a bathroom and shower. Guests can reserve double or twin rooms, which can accommodate three guests. There is also a family option, with two interconnecting rooms with a maximum capacity of 5 people.
Freshly baked bread and crisp salads are just two excellent offerings that characterize our locally sourced food. Tloma Mountain Lodge’s kitchen garden is responsible for much of the organic produce that makes its way to the table.
The kitchen team weaves their magic, and the satisfied guests comment favorably on the cuisine, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Special diets are accommodated with advance notice.

Poor network coverage in the park may mean the card machine is not always working. Most of the time, you can use US Dollars in Tanzania, particularly in tourist areas, and major credit cards are accepted at most hotels, lodges, and camps. However, we advise having some local currency on you if you want to purchase from a local shop. Major towns and airports have forex bureaus where you can exchange most major currencies such as US Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, etc.
