Ang’ata Camp Serengeti is ideally located in the Seronera, perfect for being in the very heart of the action and with excellent views over the endless plains. Game drives will take you to see all the local highlights within a short distance.
The communal Lounge Tent lets you mix with fellow travelers, or you might choose to sit around the campfire and swap stories of your day’s wildlife highlights. And the Seronera Airstrip is a 30-minute drive away.

Rooms at Ang'ata Camp Serengeti
There are only 12 Guest Tents at our intimate camp, plus communal dining and lounge tents. Guest tents are either double or twin, with an outside seating area with safari chairs and a table.
Guests will find comfortable beds protected by mosquito nets and a washroom with a flush toilet and shower. Individual solar panels and inverters provide power for each room.
Dining at Ang'ata Camp Serengeti
Our kitchen team crafts delicious meals prepared daily using Tanzanian ingredients to create African and international cuisine. Guests will also love the daily baked bread straight from the nearby bush oven.
The camp can gladly cater to special dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free – just let us know in advance! In addition, European and South African wines are available to accompany your meals.
Guests have two choices when deciding how to get to the camp. The first option is to fly into either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, stay overnight in Arusha City, and then be driven 335 kilometers or 8 hours to the camp. Alternatively, you can avoid the bumpy Tanzanian roads by taking an internal flight from one of those two airports to the Seronera Airstrip, which is only 90 minutes and 30 minutes drive from the airstrip to the camp.
In short, yes! The camp is unfenced, and wildlife has free access, so animal visits are not unknown. The camp’s super-central location also means guests can make an early start to their daily game drives to get the most from their safari experience.
Tents include one king-size or 2-3 twin beds, bedside tables with lamps, a clothes hanger/luggage shelf, a lockable wooden storage box for cameras and valuables, a solar handheld light, and a whistle for both security and room service.
The camp tents are fully zipped tight, and there is no need for mosquito nets. During your dinner, staff will spray the Guest Tents with mosquito repellent. We advise you also to bring your mosquito repellent.
At the camp, it is useful to arrive with sufficient cash to pay for extra drinks and staff gratuities. Poor network coverage in the park may mean the card machine is not always working. We advise carrying some small denomination US Dollars notes and local currency.
