Located right in the center of Moshi yet surrounded by rich gardens, Bristol Cottages Kilimanjaro is an oasis of calm with a hint of old-world charm and character. Mount Kilimanjaro towers above, making this a great starting point or place of rest before or after a climb.
The town center location makes all of the town’s restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and convenience stores within easy reach if you choose to step out.
Each room at Bristol Cottages Kilimanjaro retains a bit of old, colonial-era Moshi yet will still provide you with the modern necessities for a comfortable stay. You might find this character in the period artifacts or colonial-style bathrooms. Each one is different.
Garden-view rooms are rustic and simple, with high ceilings and wooden windows which offer views to the grounds, while the deluxe suites look over to the mountains.
The expert kitchen team at Bristol Cottages Kilimanjaro offers a variety of cuisines, Tanzanian, Indian, Italian, or continental. Breakfasts, packed lunches, buffet options, and a la carte lunch and dinner menus are all available, not forgetting occasional BBQs.

In the middle of a dry landscape, you will discover a grove of fig trees set around the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, an oasis in a semi-desert. Here you can swim in the beautiful crystal-clear water from underground caves. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in this little haven before the trip finishes with a return to Moshi.
Materuni is a genuine, authentic tribal village and the home of the Chagga tribe. These people have a lively history and culture, which you can explore. You take lunch, then maybe a swim at the foot of the waterfall – refreshing on a hot day! You can then discover how coffee is grown, dried, roasted, and made ready for consumer use. You can also taste this, now understanding its importance to the Tanzanian economy.
You will never forget your amazing 45-minute helicopter flight over the ‘Roof of Africa’ – as exciting an adventure as you can imagine. This gives you a whole new perspective, even if you have already climbed Kili! You can marvel at the three distinct volcanic cones created over thousands of years; Shira peak, Mawenzi, and the snow-capped Kibo peak. A truly astonishing experience!
By choosing the Arusha National Park One Day Safari, you will enjoy a canoeing safari on Momella Lake inside Arusha National Park, taking in sightings of wildlife such as buffalo, giraffes, bushbucks, and waterbucks. And there are hundreds of bird species here, too. On clear days you can see Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, then return in the late afternoon to Moshi.
