Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp

The Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp is open from the 1st of June to the 15th of January (high season.) It also opens between the 15th and 31st of January and the 1st of May of the 1st to the 15th of June, both low season. The camp is closed in February, March, and April.

The Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp guests can book a double room or a family suite.

Please note that children between six and 12 years old are welcome at the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp. It cannot accept children under six, and those over 12 years are counted as adults. There are two family suites.

The Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp rates include tea, coffee, drinking water, and Wi-Fi. Please note that guests can book on a Bed and Breakfast, half or full-board basis.

The following are not included in the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp rates: drinks from the bar, excursions, activities, airport transfers, and laundry. 

The tented rooms at the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp have canvas walls with netting, allowing good views. There are no nets over the beds, and guests should bring insect repellant, long-sleeved shirts, and long trousers. 

Yes, the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp offers the following activities (some at extra charge):

• Hot air balloon safaris, with a super-early start followed by bush breakfast.
• Game drives in Ruaha National Park, with expert driver-guide and picnic lunch.
• Bush walk/walking safari, with your guide
• introducing you to interesting animal tracks, colorful birds, insects, plants…and maybe some surprises.
• A cultural excursion, perhaps visiting the local village/school, a market, or a beekeeping farm.
  Evening game drive with private sundowners.

Yes, as well as Swahili, the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp staff speak English, Spanish, French, and German.

Still, you might take a game drive and stumble across grazing elephants, herds of grumpy buffalo or watch languid hippos wallowing in their muddy pools. Or take a walking safari with a Maasai guide, enjoying the discovery of amazing wonders of nature which can’t be seen from your safari vehicle. Guests can enjoy the infinity plunge pool, drink beneath the stars, or dine in the open.

Yes, the Hodi Hodi Ruaha Bush Camp offers wheelchair access and facilities for those of lesser mobility. We ask that you contact the camp for specific inquiries to confirm. Room Number 1 is close to the reception and the restaurant, so it is most suitable for those who are least mobile.
