The accommodation takes its cue from traditional, circular African houses with cone-shaped roofs. The richness of African culture is reflected in the furnishings, with art, woodcarving, and ornate sculptures. Each room at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge contains two queen-size beds, into which we put hot water bottles each night (yes, it can get chilly up here!) The rooms also have heating, which again might be necessary from time to time. After a tough day on safari, you can refresh yourself in our spacious hot-water showers.
The views from the rooms are truly spectacular; you can enjoy the sight of the crater as you sip on a cool drink.
In the Lemala Hill Restaurant at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, you will encounter a combination of the very best of Tanzanian and continental cuisines, presented either buffet-style or sometimes via a la carte.
