Olakira Migration Camp Kogatende uses two locations, starting between June and October, in the Northern Serengeti. Within a comfortable distance of the famous Mara River, you can see the incredible sight of thousands of wildebeest dicing with death as they try to avoid lurking, hungry crocodiles and make it to the other bank.
With its position split between the two locations, Olakira Migration Camp Kogatende is open from July to October.
Guests can take an internal flight to the Kogatende Airstrip, You can fly here from other airstrips in the Serengeti or Arusha Airport. The distance from Kogatende Airstrip to Olakira Migration Camp Kogatende is 45-minute drive.
If you are driving from Arusha City, the journey will take around 12 hours to Olakira Migration Camp Kogatende.

The best time to view the game is first thing in the morning and again at dusk – when the animals are most active. Game drives are often planned with an early start, though the season will dictate exactly when.
