A central location only 15 kilometers north of the wildlife-rich Seronera means guests at the Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp are not far from Tanzania’s best animal action! This camp is small, but it will leave a significant impression on everyone who visits.
There are only twelve tents at the camp, but the comfort level, style, and all the necessary amenities will ensure an enjoyable stay. Your campfire evenings beneath the stars will be unforgettable.
You have questions, many questions. With over 35 years of experience, we at Easy Travel believe we have the answers.
Arrival is by road or by air. Driving from Arusha, the journey is 335 kilometers and takes 8 hours.
There are flights from Arusha to the Seronera Airstrip in the morning, taking either 90 minutes or 2 hours (with stopovers). There is then a 30-minute vehicle transfer from Seronera Airstrip to the camp.
The camp is unfenced, and as the animals enjoy complimentary access, wildlife visits are not unknown. The camp’s super-central location also means guests can make an early start to their daily game drives to get the most from their safari experience.
The cost of a stay will depend on the dates of your stay and the number of guests. Please get in touch with us for prices.
Our tents are available single, double, twin, or triple. There is also a family option.
Check-in at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp is from 16.00 hours. Early check-in may be available on request. Check-out is by 10.00 hours.

At the camp, it is helpful to arrive with sufficient cash to pay for extra drinks and staff gratuities. Poor network coverage in the park may mean the card machine is not always working. We advise carrying some small US Dollars and some local currency, too.
A balloon safari is a truly unique way to view our wildlife. It lasts between 45 minutes and one hour, depending on the wind. It is available to those seven years and older. It involves an early start, around 3 am, to allow the balloon to take off around 6 am. The age limit for this activity is seven years and above. A third-party company will run the trip, and you will celebrate with a glass of champagne and a full English breakfast. You will also be given a certificate. Please contact us for prices and advice on how to fit this into your schedule. We will be happy to arrange this exciting trip for you.
Although there are no real concerns over the security of valuables, we provide a padlocked box for your comfort. For example, the box is large enough to accommodate a bag or a large camera lens.
The following amenities and facilities can be found: spacious modern tents with private verandas, safety deposit box for valuables, in-tent service for snacks and beverages, complimentary mineral water, insect repellent, early morning tea/coffee, whistle and torch (for security, in each tent), hot shower and flush toilet.
The camp operates on solar power with a backup generator.
