The Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp Kogatende stays ‘on the move’ during the year, its exact location following the movements of the wildebeest herds to let its’ guests experience the Great Migration at its best.
When situated in the Kogatende area (between July to October), guests are ideally placed to visit the Kogatende and Mara Rivers. There, you can hope to see the famous river crossings. Twelve tents make up Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp. Each tent is of robust Tanzanian manufacture, with a furnished patio area ideal for relaxation. Mosquito netting, netted windows, and full zipping keep you protected.

Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp spends the months from December to March in the southern Serengeti and can be reached either by road or by taking an internal flight to the Ndutu Airstrip. The camp is located in the Kogatende area in northern Serengeti from July to October. It can best be reached by road or by flying into the Lobo/Kogatende Airstrip.

There are no fences around the camp so that wildlife may pass through at any time. It would be best if you were watchful when walking around the camp. Staff is always available to escort you, and you will always be accompanied after dark.
Highlights include: taking a walking safari with an armed ranger, following animal tracks and seeing the wilderness at close-up; balloon safari, gliding above the plains and looking for herds of animals below; following the Great Migration, whether in the south or north.

Guests are always advised to drink bottled water at the camp and use the water in the taps for showers and washing. Use bottled water for cleaning your teeth, too.
